On the subject of E3, the recent announcement of the Xbox S has left us amazed; how could a such big company like Microsoft stuff up this badly?

PS4NEO officially confirmed!!
It's no longer a rumour, Sony have confirmed that they will be coming out with a new PS4. It will support 4K, and won't be sold at a loss, even more surprisingly, they have confirmed that it will not be at e3, seems to me like they are playing the waiting game with Nintendo, either way, we have Elliott Cook here directly from L.A., what are your thoughts on this Elliott?
Elliott: I already knew about it, but I couldn't find an issue with the NDA I had with Sony, I spoke to Andrew House about the situation about it yesterday, and he seemed very confident
Tom: Do you think it will be a success?
Elliott: Well it certainly could be, Sony have a lot of momentum right now, and it seems likely that the PS4 Neo will have a strong start
Tom: Have you seen the PS4 games Sony will be showing off?
Elliott: Yes
Tom: Will FFVIII get a remake on the PS4?
Elliott: No comment
Tom: Okay Elliott, thanks for chatting, HARD
Elliott: Thanks Gleeson

Apples future!
We here at Phillips Electronics News are looking forward to next week, not only because of e3, but also because Apple will announce a whole load of revisions that millions will buy. Despite the overly optimistic output I've presented so we don't completely alienate Apple supporters despite my backing of Linux, Apples has been in a bit of a financial struggle recently, with shares going down 25% since last May, so we will see if Apple can recover, but I wouldn't invest in them, but that's my opinion. Remember Elliott Cook will cover it here on PE News.

Is the face of computing changing? #2
Today, as I checked on the stats for the blog, and I realised that Americans had viewed our blog more than Australians! Oh, and the yet-unreleased console NX has given us some views. Cool.

Philips CD-i: The Games Themselves
Our last edition of the smash hit left us at the beginning of the CD-I, 1991. Philips was faced with the tough task of putting together a console to compete with the TurboGrafx and Genesis, whilst still having a fully functioning computer to compete with the Commodore Amiga and Apple Newton. We all know how that project turned out, don't we?

Everyone's favourite dodgy phone company HTC have released a brand new entry in their "desire" series, this model, titled the HTC desire 825, it is 5.5 inches, and has a 720p display - pretty decent I say!

Future for Philips Electronics News
Created and Co-CEO of PE News, Elliott Cook flew of this morning to the e3 gaming convention in LA, 1 week before the event, leaving Tom and Bat as leaders until Elliott comes back, and Bat goes back to a lesser position (I am predicting a sigh of relief when that happens).
This is great news for the blog, and I hope you are as excited as we are to hear about e3, and the dodgy Qantas that takes him their, for now though, you shall have an empower and rampant bat nerd making weird posts.
Goodbye.

PS4 Sales hit 40 Million, yet total sales are lower than 20 years ago
The PlayStation fan in all of us felt a little more joyful when we read the happy news that Sony is finally back on track, yet total console and game sales are at their lowest in 25 years. Just a bad year, or is the videogame industry finally dying off after 35 years of success? We hoped to find out, but the results we pulled up are more than a little bit disturbing.
